Bertorelli, Gandi, Won & Behti is the successor firm to the San Francisco office of Spicer & Oppenheim. Our partner Eugene Bertorelli merged his practice, started in 1954, with Spicer & Oppenheim in 1978. Spicer & Oppenheim was a national firm known for its expertise in the financial services industry, particularly hedge funds. In addition to the financial services industry, the firm prides itself on its expertise in a variety of sectors such as real estate, non-profit organizations, manufacturing, construction, farming, restaurants, wholesale/retail, import/export and inter-modal trucking. The firm’s expertise extends to estate and succession planning, retirement planning, international tax planning and business valuation services.

Bertorelli, Gandi, Won & Behti is a member of the Private Companies Practice Section (PCPS) of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. As members of the PCPS the firm completed its first tri-annual peer review in October 1992 receiving an unqualified opinion as to the systems of quality control implementation. This opinion was reaffirmed in 1995, 1998, 2002 and 2004.

The firm is also a member of MSI Global Alliance, an alliance of Independent Legal and Accounting firms. Our membership in MSI Global Alliance ensures that our clients can receive accounting, legal, taxation, consulting and general business services worldwide.
